We LoVe Birthdays

Happy 4th Birthday Princess Aubrey

"I just like the frosting"

Grandpa and Grandma came to celebrate with us and have cake and ice cream.

Aubrey celebrated her Birthday at Sunshine Square Preschool.
She was the special leader and they were learning about the letter, "v". So she took Vanilla cupcakes and Vanilla wafers for snack. We love Miss Leslie and Sunshine Square!

Ute Family... there is no stopping us!

We took the kids to a free spring Ute football game. (the team played each other) Now we know why Dave only has two season tickets and not four. We were quite the entertainment for the crowd around us. The kids were only interested in the food and they kept getting suck in the folding stadium seats. After Andrew got stuck in the folding seat for the fourth time and Aubrey the second, I looked at Dave and said, "I think it's time to go". Dave says we are just making family memories, I say lets make them at home. We did have a lot of fun together and it was great to spend time together as a family.

Just because she is so cute...

Princess Aubrey
There isn't a day that goes by that Aubrey doesn't play dress-up. She is always coming to me to ask if I can help her into something. I had the girls in a 6 week tumbling class and this is what Aubrey wore to tumbling every week.
She makes me smile!

Disneyland 1

After Katelyn's 8th Birthday (last January) we were off to Disneyland for
an
enjoyable family vacation with our friends the Braeggers.
Everyone was eager to get going and we had more than a few looks as we wove through the airport with all of our children and their carry-ons. There was so much excitement in the air.
Disneyland
Once a princess, always a princess...

We started off our first day with meeting the princesses and over the course of three days we worked our way through the park and had many adventures along the way.
Aubrey just couldn't believe that the princesses lived at Disneyland.

Disneyland 2

One of our favorite rides is, "Soaring over California." Aubrey loved this ride and she barely met the requirement of 42". They measured her at every gate. She also loved Splash Mountain and Space Mountain. She even tried to talk her mom into going on Splash Mountain with her, saying that she would sit by me so I wouldn't be scared. One day we were eating hot dogs for lunch and she showed me her hot dog that she had taken three bits out of the top of it and said, "Look Mom, I made the boat on Splash Mountain!"

"Who says you have to be a girl to wear pink!"
Katelyn had her best friend Ally to share each moment with. They did everything together, including riding each ride together. There wasn't one ride that Katelyn wouldn't try. Her favorite ride was California Screamin' and Splash Mountain. Katelyn loves a good roller coaster.
I had to include this picture to prove that even the parents had an enjoyable time.
Heather and I have been friends for years- I would hate to admit how long we have known one another. (it's been at least half of my lifetime) We had a really good time together. Thanks Braeggers!

Disneyland 3

Andrew wasn't too excited to meet the characters such as Mickey.
On the other hand the girls couldn't get enough.
It reminds me of our first trip to Disneyland when Katelyn was five. She cried the first time she met Mickey.

Family Photo Time!
Katelyn had an autograph book that she always had on hand at the chance of running into someone special.
I think she got over 11 autographs!

Andrew is thinking, "You people call this fun???"
