Canopy Zip Line Tour- Puerto Vallarta

All the rumors are true! I did the zip line!
And here is my proof!

I am trying to smile for the camera, but really I am scared silly!
And I am really not liking Dave at this point, because he is the one who got me into this mess.
The guys on the zip line helping me into my gear were teasing me about being too serious.
How can a girl be too serious at a time like this, when I'm about to fly 500 feet above ground!?!

Dave couldn't be more excited about this part of the trip.
He was like a little kid with excitement on the morning of our first day in Puerto Vallarta.

Here is a picture of Dave and I on the last zip line. We were racing each other, and just for the record, I was winning until the 2nd half of the line.
I think he won due to the extra weight he had over me. That's right I said it.

And here is the picture where I said,
"You were right dear, I loved it!"

Mazatlan

My favorite part of the city tour that we took, was the market. Mostly because the locals shopped there, it wasn't just for the tourists. I loved the idea of fresh fruit and veggies each day. They had plenty to choose from. (Notice the look on my face in the picture, I am yelling at Dave, "just take the picture". People were stopping to stare at us taking the picture. Just another crazy tourist taking pictures of the funniest things.)

Now the meat market was a different thing. I think I like the idea of meat in the US.
It's a little more, shall we say packaged properly.
And I am not really into the pig's head and hooves too much.

Cliff divers... yea, I think they are loco!

Obviously, one of Dave's favorite stops in Mazatlan, "The Shrimp Bucket".
Mazatlan is known for it's sea food, and we enjoyed every last shrimp in the bucket,
along with a Coke and some guacamole.

Cabo San Lucas

This was an amazing picture of the sunset, taken from our balcony on the boat. Dave did a great job at getting us a lovely suite on the boat. I loved looking out at the ocean every day.
Paradise

The beach in Cabo was one of my favorite places. I have never seen the water so clear and the sand so soft. I could see my feet standing in the water.
I could go back there any time, I dream of being back at that beach.

Cabo is where we went snorkeling. I was a bit overwhelmed at first with the waves and snorkeling gear. Once I got over my fear, I really enjoyed looking at the fish in the ocean. It felt like I could reach out and touch them, but they were always just out of my reach.

St.. George

POOL TIME
As soon as school was out we left on our family vacation for St. George's house.
(That's what Aubrey calls it)

My favorite part of summer is anything out in the sun. I can't get enough and I LOVE the heat. St. George has become a must every year in the Kotter household.

George is the monkey, he sleeps with it every day. He wonders around the house saying, "George" when we can't find him.

The kids enjoying their sleepover together in the living room of the condo....
they didn't sleep much.
Andrew discovered he could get out of the pack'n play. Dave and I didn't know what to do the first night. We tried everything, but he wouldn't go to sleep. The next night we tried his car seat, (it's the only thing he couldn't get out of) and it worked beautifully. He would fall asleep in the car seat and then we moved him to the crib. You gotta do what you gotta do. Parenthood...huh?

Spring Recital

Katelyn had here dance spring recital just before the end of the school year. She was pretty excited because her Dad danced with her in the recital. She didn't know her Dad had any dance moves (neither did I).

Aubrey's last day of preschool. They celebrated with a carnival, she loved dressing up to go to school. She loves to dress-up any day of the week.
